Kate, an awake baby. Baby Kate was nominated for a 2010 DOLLS Award of Excellence! Baby Kate will be made to order with your choice of hair color, eye color, and peaches and cream or mottled newborn complexion. Kate was hand sculpted by award winning artist Emily Jameson. She has been cast in solid platinum silicone by Melissa McCrory. Kate’s skin tone will be painted by the artist. The painting is very detailed, complete with shaded creases, veins, and nail tips! Kate’s little head will be rooted by Pam Bratcher with soft, high quality mohair in a color of the new mommy’s choosing. The rooting is super fine, just one hair at a time. Kate’s eye color will be chosen by the new mommy. Both German glass eyes and high quality acrylic eyes are available. Precious little Kate measures 18 ½" long (with legs bent), weighs about 5lbs, and has a head circumference of 12". Kate has ¾ arms and full legs on a perfectly proportioned, fully jointed doe suede body. Kate will be stuffed purely with glass beads and polyfil. She will even smell like a real baby! Baby Kate is so cuddly to hold and really does melt in your arms!

Kate will arrive home with an adorable outfit chosen by the artist, a real baby diaper, and numbered certificate of authenticity. Kate wears size newborn in real baby clothing, so you can easily shop for her!
